Auburn’s road woes continued at Florida.

The Gators dominated from start to finish winning 95-63 Saturday night at the O’Connell Center. The Tigers have now lost all three of their conference road games by an average of 21.7 points.

“Didn’t see something like this coming from the standpoint of I thought we had good preparation, thought we had a good game plan,” Auburn coach Bruce Pearl said. “Obviously, Florida is a very good team, a talented team.

“I think we expended a lot of energy in the past week beating Kentucky and Alabama.”

The loss drops Auburn to 9-9 overall and 3-4 in the SEC while Florida improves to 13-6 and 5-2.

Florida essentially put the game away with a 29-5 run in the first half. Auburn couldn’t get the lead under 20 points in the second half.

Florida shot 56.9 percent from the floor and made 9-of-19 3-pointers, out-rebounding Auburn 44-31. The Tigers shot just 35.8 percent from the floor including 6-of-24 from 3-point range.

Florida’s 95 points is the most Auburn has allowed this season.

"Physically, we got destroyed inside," Pearl said.

Tyler Harris led Auburn with 14 points and added six rebounds. Kareem Canty had 12 points and Jordon Granger had a season-high 11.

After playing one of his best career games with 20 points and 18 rebounds against Alabama Tuesday, Cinmeon Bowers had just four points and nine rebounds against the Gators. He was 2-of-13 from the floor and 0-of-4 from 3-point range.

Florida was led by Dorian Finney-Smith with 24 points and eight rebounds.

Auburn will return to action Wednesday at Ole Miss. Tip-off on the SEC Network is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT.

"We’ve got to get a road win and we’ve got to get ready for Ole Miss," Pearl said.
