Nate Craig-Myers has re-committed to Auburn.

The No. 3 receiver on Wednesday announced during a ceremony at Tampa (Fla.) Catholic High School his intentions to sign a National Letter of Intent with the Tigers.

"I would like to further my education at Auburn University," Craig-Myers said as he pulled from under the table a miniature statue of Aubie.

Craig-Myers made his decision after narrowing his options to Auburn and North Carolina. The four-star recruit was one of the first commitments in Auburn’s 2016 class, but reopened his recruitment in May.

"They were one of the first schools to believe in me and gave me an opportunity," Craig-Myers said. "When I backed off of my commitment, they still believed in me and we still had a strong bond," Craig-Myers said. "They never gave up on me."

Dameyune Craig, Auburn’s receivers coach/co-offensive coordinator, played a vital role in Craig-Myers returning to the Tigers. Craig, Gus Malzahn and Wesley McGriff made an in-home visit with Craig-Myers and his half-brother, defensive back Jayvaughn Myers, on Jan. 24. Craig and Craig-Myers have a long-standing relationship that dates back to the receiver's freshman year.

"He always pushed me, always stayed on me," Craig-Myers said. "Always gave me words of encouragement."

The addition of Craig-Myers gives Auburn two of the top 10 receivers in the class and three of the top 27. Elijah Stove, the No. 10 receiver, signed with Auburn on Wednesday. Kyle Davis, No. 27, is enrolled. Auburn also signed Marquis McClain, who is ranked the No. 67 receiver.

"I have a great opportunity my freshman year at Auburn University," Craig-Myers said. "I want to be Freshman All-American and then win the Biletnikoff (Award)."

Myers, a three-star defensive back at Pasco in Dade City, Fla., is set to announce between Auburn and North Carolina at noon CT. The two have stated they plan to play alongside each other in college.
