Malcolm Askew released a list of his top 10 schools Sunday and placed Auburn in a familiar spot.

The Tigers continue to be on top for the McAdory standout.

Askew, whom Auburn is recruiting to play cornerback, lists the Tigers No. 1. Clemson, Ole Miss, TCU and Alabama round out Askew’s top five. Florida, Cal, Oklahoma, Miami and Oregon also made the cut.

“I have decided to narrow my list to these 10 schools,” Askew said in a statement released Sunday on his Twitter account. “They have recruited me and stayed in contact with me the most throughout this spring. These schools have shown the most love and I can see myself playing at each one of them.”

Askew has had Auburn No. 1 since a visit for A-Day in April. The Rivals250 recruit hinted that he could commit to the Tigers earlier than initially planned.

“Auburn is really separating itself right now,” Askew said after A-Day. “Auburn is absolutely my No. 1 school right now and after today’s visit, (a commitment) could possibly come soon.”

Two months later, Askew still feels he’s growing closer to making a commitment. He’s planning to attend Auburn’s Big Cat on June 4.

“I would like to make my decision real soon,” Askew said Sunday in his tweet. “I’ll graduate early and enroll in college next January. I thank God for all the opportunities [He’s] given me and I know I’m highly favored to be in this position.”

Rivals ranks Askew the No. 12 athlete in the 2017 class and No. 2 overall player in Alabama.
